New Town’s 75th Anniversary

New Town is 75 years old! There will be a celebration of this milestone on August 29, 2026. We have a full day planned and details are being worked out, so planned activities may change. As of now, the day will start out with a parade, followed by cornhole and 3 on 3 basketball tournaments. There will be inflatables and games for the kids. The new city hall will have a ribbon cutting, there will be history displays and presentations at The Venue, along with entertainment and food on Main Street. We plan on having artists decorate benches and those will be auctioned off. A big event in the evening will be the New Town Parade of Champions where we will recognize previous achievements in sports. There is a possibility of a street dance to end the day. Check for updates on Facebook.

You can participate in several ways.
