2026 Bite the Ice Tournament

The 2026 Bite the Ice “On the Hook” fishing tournament was held Jan. 31, 2026. There was freezing rain early in the morning causing icy roads, but it warmed up during the day to around 37 degrees. The number of people fishing was over 500, with 56 of them being kids 12 and under. This was the 20th annual tournament and to celebrate 20 years, there was a special raffle for a kid’s 4 wheeler that was drawn from the 56 kids that fished. The lucky winner of the 4 wheeler was Kimber Hans.
