Car Show

  • A garden with yellow flowers in front of a building

  • Scenic view of a large body of water with a bridge extending across it, green hills in the foreground, and a partly cloudy sky with sunlight rays breaking through.

The New Town Car and Motorcycle Show was first held in 2018, organized by the New Town Chamber and Chamber member, Reynolds Insurance Agency. It was started to give classic car enthusiasts a local car show and at the same time, raise money for a worthwhile cause. Since the beginning, all entry fees paid to the Chamber have been donated, plus Reynolds Insurance has matched that amount to double the donation. The first year, a total of $1,400 was raised. In 2025, the car show became a two day event and the amount donated was $5,870. Watch this video for more information.

against each other to see who can produce the highest sound pressure levels in their vehicles right

here at the heart of Lake Sakakawea.

The objective is to generate the loudest and most powerful sound possible with clarity and minimum

distortion. Originality, custom work & design will also be taken into consideration.

The Burnout Contest is your chance to perform & show how well you can keep the vehicle stationary

while spinning its wheels on the asphalt by "The Point". You have 30 seconds to create some smoke.

All participants must sign a waiver.

There will be a scavenger hunt at participating New Town businesses. Collect a sticker at each stop and share photos on social media for a chance to win a prize. Watch for more information.

This year, the entry fees will once again be donated to the New Town City Library for their First LEGO League and First LEGO Robotics. This program has been the recipient of the entry fees since 2023.
